Hey, we’re a bunch of revolutionaries based in Wellington, New Zealand. Our feels with RUDE Clothing come down to two basic principles: Excellent design, and High quality apparel. We want to create amazing things to put on and around yourselves, to bring out your inner beauty. And we want to basically be as raw as possible whilst undertaking this process – as our brand tends to suggest.

How do I place an order?
Browse items under the ‘LATEST RUDE RANGE’ heading on the front page. Check sizing chart and available colours on each item. Add item to cart and carry on shopping or proceed to checkout. At checkout you will enter your delivery and payment details and complete the order.
How do I pay for my order?
Our preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card through our website. If you cant pay with this method, we accept Paypal and direct deposits and online transfers. Contact us to arrange this.
Is everything on the website in stock now?
Each product on the website is currently in production, that means if we don’t already have your garment ready to go – it is currently getting made and wont be far away. We keep our production runs small to keep our ranges limited, however once we stop producing a range it is no longer advertised as for sale on the website.
How long does it take to process an order?
All orders received and paid for before midday will be shipped out within 24 hours. All orders are overnight delivery in the North Island and a 1-2 day service in the South Island. For rural deliveries add an extra 2 days. Orders may be delayed by the courier service during peak periods, and also on occasion by production – because we don’t and won’t pump out buttloads of the same design. Rest assured, we want to get your apparel to you as fast as possible. Even more rest assured, it will be worth the wait!
Do you screen print?
No we don’t provide a screen-printing service. We’re a essentially a clothing label.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
Shipping costs will depend on the size of your order. Nation-wide shipping is …. We will always let you know the shipping costs before we confirm your order.
Can I make changes to my order once I place it?
No, you’ll have to place an additional order or notify us by email.
Can I pick my order up?
Not currently, but we are looking to have a RUDE presence in the Wellington CBD in the near future which you’ll be able to pick up from. We’ll keep you posted about this.
What is your returns policy?
We like to think our garments are amongst the best in quality and durability, however sometimes the odd one slips through. We will credit or replace faulty garments within 14 days of the date of invoice as long as they have not been soiled or embellished. It is our strict policy to not credit or refund items that were not faulty upon purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all garments upon receiving. Contact us right away for any returns, we’ll sort it out right away.
What are your washing instructions?
All of our products have washing and care instructions on the neck tags. Most of our t-shirts are pre-shrunk but we do recommend that you don’t tumble dry the lighter weight t-shirts and fleece as there may be excess shrinkage and our eco-inks on some ranges may be affected.
Can I order custom colours and sizes?
Our range of sizes and colours is very extensive with respect to our market, but it’s hard to cater to all. We’d like to cater to all but in the greater scheme of things, no – we don’t offer custom colours or sizes.
What does GSM mean?
GSM stands for Grams per square Metre, which is basically the weight of the fabric used for the garment. So a 205 GSM t-shirt will feel a lot heavier than a 150 GSM shirt.
Where are your products made?
Our clothing garments are AS Colour products and are made in Bangladesh and China. All country of origin details are included on the neck tags of our garments. All printing and branding of artwork onto garments is done right here in good old New Zealand, represent. We even stamp our own bags and hand-cut our stickers.
